My love of Disney

Disney is such a big part of my life. I can’t go a day without Disney. To explain just how much I love Disney, here is a post I’m very excited to share with you guys.

To start here are my top 10 favorite Disney and Pixar movies:

  1. Peter Pan
  2. Cinderella
  3. Sleeping Beauty
  4. Lilo and Stitch
  5. Up
  6. Ratatouille
  7. The Incredibles 1 and 2
  8. 101 Dalmatians
  9. Alice in Wonderland
  10. Dumbo

I grew up watching Disney. I remember my sister and I always watching our Disney VHS tapes. Disney was such a big part of my childhood, and I hope it continues to be present in my life.

My favorite movie of all time is Peter Pan. The whole story of not wanting to grow up is so relatable. I love my mom and dad so much and the fact that I won’t get to see them everyday next year is very sad. In the movie Peter Pan Wendy, John, and Michael go to Neverland with Peter Pan, and they are so happy. Then Wendy realizes that they have to go back because they need to grow up. I know next year I’m going to grow so much being on my own, and it’s going to be the start of the rest my life. I have to accept that I have to move on with my life just like Wendy did. I’ll always keep my inner child inside of me because that’s what holds my love of Disney.

I’ve been to Disney World twice and Disneyland once. I can’t really remember my trips to Disney World because I was really little, but I still went. I do remember my trip to Disneyland, though.

My Disneyland trip changed my life. After that trip my new goal in life was to work for the Disney company.

The trip itself was pretty cool. I got to be in California with some of my best friends. We were all on a band trip, and two of the days we went to Disneyland. It was pretty stressful to try to get everything we wanted done in two days. I’m definitely going back to spend a more time there.

Ever since that trip I started to immerse myself in the Disney online community. I started to follow many Disney bloggers on Instagram, and then I found out about the Disney College Program.

The Disney College Program, or the DCP for short, is a paid internship where you go and work for Disney World or Land during college. You can have many different roles like quick service food and beverage, merchandise, attractions, custodial, or entertainment. You go for a semester or two of college and you basically just get to work for the company.

My new favorite hobby is watching vlogs, or video blogs, from people on the DCP. These videos and my love of Disney have inspired me to do this program when I’m in college.

My dream job is to work for the Disney company. I haven’t found a specific job I want to do, but any will be amazing. My dream job at Disney is to be a parade dancer or a dancer for one of their shows. But if that doesn’t work out I would really want a job in any of their merchandise roles. I love the idea of running a Disney Store and being able to choose the merchandise guests can purchase.

My end goal in life is to have worked for this amazing company and help share magic with everybody that visit the parks.

Another reason I love Disney is because it gets me through hard times in life. I listen to Disney music on a daily basis. It’s gets me into such a good mood. This year has been rough for me, I’ve had to make some hard decisions. I just try to either watch a Disney movie or listen to some Disney music to make me feel better.

Disney makes everything seem so magical and the fact that Walt Disney had the idea to bring all of his movies to life is amazing. I can’t wait for my life to flourish because of Disney. Disney brings out a part of myself I never knew I had.

Thank you Walt for creating Mickey Mouse and for sharing your magic with the world!

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. ~ Walt Disney
