Hi my name is Halle Kruse. I’m from a small town in Southeast Minnesota. I am currently a senior in high school, but I’m enrolled in PSEO at RCTC. When I’m not at school, I spend most of my free time dancing. I have been dancing for 15 years, and I plan to continue my education in dance. I’m on a competitive team at my studio, but my passion is just to express my love for this art. I am trained in most styles including: jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, modern and musical theater. I’m also a big fan of Disney. I love the story of the company and the message it runs by. For my future I hope I can get a job working for the Walt Disney Company, and my ultimate dream would be to dance for the company.

In the rest of my free time I like to travel. I love to learn about new cultures and see how other people live. One of my biggest dreams in life is to set foot on every continent, even Antarctica. I have been to two places out of the United Staes. I have been to Aruba, which is an island just north of Venezuela. The island was small, but I had the opportunity to drive around all areas of it and see all the touristy places. I have also been to Iceland, which was by far my favorite trip I’ve been on. Iceland was such a pretty place, my family and I stayed in the southwest part of the country. We went on the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, and we explored the capital, Reykjavik. I love all the fun colors and interesting landscape Iceland has to offer. We saw many waterfalls on our trip. Another big part of my trips is trying new food and let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! My mom and I are big into trying new things, and we got to try so many different foods. The main food we had was seafood. I had some of the best salmon there. I miss having smoked salmon and egg toast every morning for breakfast.

Now that you know a little bit more about me, I hope you enjoy my blog and find something useful and/or meaningful to you. Enjoy!
